Cost of Living Crisis Support
The risk that the cost-of-living crisis poses to people’s mental health is an urgent concern, with poor mental health closely linked to poverty and low incomes (LSE,2022). Mental health and money problems are often inextricably linked. One type of problem can feed off the other, creating a vicious cycle of growing financial problems and worsening mental health that is hard to escape.
We have Partnered with a Professional Financial Wellbeing Consultancy Firm to offer free financial wellbeing cafes. These will are based on age as different age groups have different financial needs ( Youths 19-24, Middle aged adults – 25 – 34 years , 35 and above, Over 60s ). The Climate Crisis
According to WHO, The Earth has warmed approximately 0.85°C over the last 130 years and It will warm more than 3°C this century alone. WHO also estimated that climate change will cause around 250,000 additional deaths per year between 2030 and 2050 — 38,000 from heat exposure in the elderly, 48,000 from diarrhoea, 60,000 from malaria and 95,000 from childhood undernutrition.
Using the above basis , we organise numerous activities aimed at increasing awareness and knowledge of the dangers of environmental degradation and resultant climate change .
